Yoga Near Hanover, MA

If you live in Hanover, we're practically neighbors. Emerald Yoga Studio is about seven minutes down Route 139, in the same plaza as Tolson's Tap & Tavern (you might still call it the old British Beer Company, and we won't correct you). Plenty of our Hanover regulars fit class in before work, on a lunch break or on the way home, because we're close enough that "I don't have time" stops being a very convincing excuse.

What a week looks like here

We teach more than 25 classes a week, and every one is taught in the room and streamed live at the same time. So the same class works whether you're on a mat here or in your living room on a snow day.

  • Before work: 6:00 a.m. Flow on Tuesdays and 6:00 a.m. Yoga Basics on Fridays. You'll be done before most of Hanover has finished its coffee.

  • Midday: Chair Yoga, Yoga Alchemy and Superhero Strong Flow around the lunch hour on Wednesdays and Fridays.

  • After work: Flow, Power Vinyasa, Yoga Basics and Restorative Yin into the evening, Monday through Thursday.

  • Weekends: Superhero Strong Flow and Yoga Basics on Saturday mornings, and a Sunday-night Restorative Yin to reset before the week starts.

Where to start

Every class has a gem rating: one gem for gentle, three gems for the ones that will make you sweat. If you're new, start with Yoga Basics or Soulful Slow Flow. If you already move a lot, Flow is the class our regulars would tell you to take first. Power Vinyasa and Superhero Strong Flow are there when you want a challenge.
